PALM BEACH COUNTY, Fla. (CBS12) — Ten Palm Beach County schools are experiencing renovations during the summer months.
As a result, parents registering their students at those schools for the 2018-2019 school year will have to register at a different location, the school district said.
The renovations will be complete before students return in August, and come from the One Penny Sales Tax.
A list of the schools undergoing renovations:
Bear Lakes Middle School-school registration for Bear Lakes Middle School will take place at Palm Beach Lakes High School.
Cypress Trails Elementary School-school registration for Cypress Trails Elementary will take place at Crestwood Middle School.
Del Prado Elementary School- school registration for Del Prado Elementary will be moved to Verde Elementary.
Jupiter Farms Elementary School- school registration for Jupiter Farms Elementary will be moved to Jerry Thomas Elementary School.
K.E. Cunningham/Canal Point Elementary School- school registration for K.E. Cunningham/Canal Point Elementary will be moved to Pahokee Elementary School.
Lighthouse Elementary School- school registration for Lighthouse Elementary School will be moved to Beacon Cove Intermediate School.
New Horizons Elementary School- school registration for New Horizons Elementary will be moved to Elbridge Gale Elementary on Tuesdays from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. and Thursdays from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m.
Watson B. Duncan Middle School- school registration for Duncan Middle School will be moved to William T. Dwyer High School.
Wellington Landings Middle School- school registration for Wellington Landings Middle will be moved to Wellington High School.
